It’s good food for thought before the New Year. I always say, I’ll start on Monday, but then Monday becomes next Monday. Can I start diet and exercise for the New Years, or rather I should say a new way of living? Well that’s the plan. It’s very hard, and even harder to maintain when you reach your goal. Someone once told me that she prayed to God for the discipline and self control and energy to lose weight because she couldn’t do it on her own. She loss weight and maintained pretty well, which requires being intentional. –Especially if you have the “joy of eating gene” like me 🙂

    Great post!

Love it!…”the joy of eating gene.” LOL 🙂

I think the idea of incorporating prayer is great. His strength is made perfect in our weakness and discipline can be challenging to achieve and maintain. Also, food addiction/starvation is very real for some. Spiritual and professional intervention and support is key.

Thank you Bryna for your comments and insight!
